What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
